Setup & Breakdown
Mount to your hitch
Slide the seating system into your truck or van's hitch receiver and secure it per the included guidance.
Swing and set height
Swing the arms out, pick one of two height settings, and use the 360° swivel to face the crew or the work.

A Simple but Brilliant Idea
The Beginning
Tailbreaker started as a solution to a problem. The inventor, George Otta and his father were cutting trees in the bush and when lunchtime arrived had nowhere to sit, except on the hard uncomfortable tailgate of their pickup truck. George imagined a solution — it would be nice to sit on comfortable chairs while using the tailgate as a convenient lunch spot. The seats also needed to be comfortable, easy to use, and part of the truck. And so, Tailbreaker was born.
Evolved Tailgating
George's vision extended beyond the lake. Tailbreaker would be perfect for tailgating parties at NFL, University, college, and local football games. Over the past two decades, tailgating has evolved from an occasional pastime to an integral part of sports fans' lives nationwide. Tailbreaker is an evolution in tailgate seating. The time has come for a better solution than sitting on lawn chairs or coolers... Tailbreaker!
Product Development
Once George put the concept of Tailbreaker on paper, he set out to bring his vision to life. The first prototype was built and the process of creating the perfect Tailbreaker began. Over the next 4 years, George's original concept evolved into the durable, comfortable, and easy-to-install Tailbreaker of today.
